RETURNS

Voltaire Cycles of Sarasota has a general merchandise 30-day limited return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to make a return. This return policy is limited because there are certain product categories that are excluded from this return policy. The exclusions are vehicles, hazmat materials, personal apparel, and perishable goods. Please read our entire Return Policy before making a purchase from Voltaire Cycles of Sarasota.

Voltaire Cycles Sarasota accepts returns for most riding accessories as long as the item has not been used. The company's return policy extends for 30 days from date of purchase. Please note that for safety and hazmat certification reasons, certain products are exempt from our return policy. For these products, all sales are considered final.

All bicycles, trikes, skateboards, and scooter sales are considered final. If an order is placed online, we offer a 24-hour grace period from which you may cancel your order. Beyond 24 hours, we cannot refund the purchase. All custom ordered parts sales are also final. This includes batteries, conversion kits, chargers, and motor or battery accessories.

Perishable goods such as food, newspapers, books or magazines, certain apparel items such as helmets, shoes, gloves, jackets, shirts, pants and other personal garments, are exempt from returns. Finally, all clearance items, garage sale items, demo, used or consignment items are final.

For general merchandise returns, your item must be unused and in the same condition that it appeared in the store. It must also be in the original packaging including tags, documents, and any additional accessories. Please note: there is a 15% restocking fee for all returned items.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

REFUNDS 
Once your return is received and inspected, Voltaire Cycles Sarasota will email a confirmation notice to you stating that the item has been received. If the item meets the return policy conditions, a credit will be issued within 3-5 business days.

EXCHANGES (if applicable) 
Exchanges are only offered on defective items. Please contact Voltaire Cycles of Sarasota by email at info@voltairecycles-sarasota.com or by phone at (941) 922-0384. GIFTS 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

SHIPPING
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Voltaire Cycles of Sarasota, 1260 S. Tamiami Trail, Osprey, Florida, 34229. You are responsible for paying all shipping costs for returning your item for exchange or for refund (if within the guidelines of our policies). If the item is defective, damaged, or otherwise not what was advertised, we will pay all return shipping costs by sending you a prepaid mailing label for your return. Shipping costs are non-refundable – except in cases of an item that is defective or damaged.  Depending on your physical address, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider insuring your shipment with a tracking number. For normal returns and exchanges (those items in which you would like to return or exchange for reasons other than damage or defect), you are responsible for the product returning to our store safely. If damaged in transit for reasons such as poor packaging, or for shipping at the cheapest ground rate, you will be responsible for those damages. The item’s condition upon arrival is your responsibility. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item or that we received your item without proof of delivery.
